Monster Hunter Games
Monster Hunter is a popular action role-playing game franchise developed and published by Capcom. The series is centered around players hunting and capturing or killing various monsters in a fantasy world filled with dangerous creatures. The franchise has a strong emphasis on cooperative multiplayer gameplay, allowing players to team up to take down the game’s largest and most challenging monsters.

Monster Hunter 1
Monster Hunter (2004) is the first installment in the Monster Hunter series, developed and published by Capcom. It was released for the PlayStation 2 in 2004, and then later for the PlayStation Portable in 2005. The game focuses on the player character, a hunter, who is tasked with taking on quests to hunt and kill monsters, gathering resources and materials to improve their weapons and armor along the way. It introduced the series’ core gameplay mechanics and features, such as cooperative multiplayer and the crafting system.
Monster Hunter 2
There are actually two versions of Monster Hunter 2: Monster Hunter 2 and Monster Hunter 2: Dos. Monster Hunter 2 was released for the PlayStation 2 in Japan in 2006. It was not released outside of Japan. Monster Hunter 2: Dos was an enhanced version of the game and was released for the PlayStation 2 in Japan in 2007. It also had a limited release in some Asian territories.

Monster Hunter 3 Tri
Monster Hunter 3 Tri is an action role-playing game developed by Capcom for the Wii console. It was released in 2009 in Japan and 2010 in other regions. Monster Hunter Portable 3rd

Monster Hunter 4G
Monster Hunter 4G is an expanded version of Monster Hunter 4, which was released for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan in 2013 and in North America and Europe in 2015. The “G” in the title stands for “G Rank,” which refers to the highest level of difficulty in the game’s quests. The game introduced new monsters, weapons, armor, and features, and included online multiplayer capabilities. It was later re-released as Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate in 2015, which added even more content and improvements to the game.
Monster Hunter Generations
Monster Hunter Generations is the fifth main installment in the Monster Hunter series developed and published by Capcom. It was released for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan in November 2015, and worldwide in July 2016. The game introduced new gameplay mechanics such as hunting styles and hunter arts, as well as bringing back several fan-favorite monsters from past games. It was followed by an expanded version called Monster Hunter XX (Double Cross) in Japan, which was later released internationally as Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch in August 2018.

Monster Hunter X

The game was later released in the west as Monster Hunter Generations in 2016. Monster Hunter XX
Monster Hunter XX is an enhanced version of Monster Hunter X (also known as Monster Hunter Generations) that was released exclusively in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS in 2017. It features new monsters, areas, and gameplay mechanics not found in the original game, as well as additional Hunter Styles and Hunter Arts. It also includes collaborations with other popular franchises, such as The Legend of Zelda and Fire Emblem. An updated version of Monster Hunter XX, titled Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Ver., was later released for the Nintendo Switch in Japan and other regions in 2017.

Monster Hunter Stories 2
“Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin” is a role-playing video game developed and published by Capcom. It was released for Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Windows in July 2021. The game is a sequel to “Monster Hunter Stories” which was released for Nintendo 3DS in 2017. In the game, the player takes on the role of a Monster Rider who forms bonds with monsters and travels with them to uncover the mysteries surrounding the Wings of Ruin. The game features turn-based combat and allows players to hatch, raise, and customize their own monsters.
